What do you think of this Mickey Mantle

I bought this in 1999...complete with wrinkles, thumbtack holes and bad corners....

Do you think it is legit......?  Probably not the best thought today but i use to think that if someone was going to forge a signature, why would they personalize it...and bring down value..

Thanks always for your opinions and comments...good and bad.

thank you....i value your opinion...i bought it online from an Annie Mebane, the story with it was that her mother sent her to his table at the restaurant for an autograph in circa 1989.....

the Mantle is authentic,  but addressing your point, some forgers will personalize an item for that very reason.
