Your definition of nicely is the big question here. Modern n ice sit down graphs sell for $500-$600 depending on the photo, Indy pieces a bit less.

You can get ok modern street autographs in the $400-$500 range but nice vintage full signatures can be anywhere between $1000 and $5000 again depending on the photo.

Looking at eBay results, I would say I generally see an average price for an 8x10 PSA/DNA Ford photo go for about $350. And there doesn't seem to be any big shortage of supply.

Don't get me wrong, I love Harrison Ford, but if some of his photos can go for $1000 to $5000, then my 1985 Mick Jagger signed copy of Rolling Stone ought to be over $2k, because I sure don't see many of them available for sale.

Comparing something from the 1970's or 1980's  with full every letter (or most letters) to a modern HmFrd scribble. If your Jagger is similar .....I would agree with you completely.

Joe that isn't a Harrison Ford autograph, just a pretty common forgery that has been around for the last 10-15 years.

Interesting. The source is from one of the expert authenticators for JSA on their web site. I appreciate your input.

The only authenticator who should ever even look at a Harrison Ford is Steve Grad of PSA DNA.

JD Bardwell has been named as a JSA modern celebrity authenticator now as well and he is smart enough to check with right people.

I know JD Bardwell as a reputable dealer. He isn't the one who has this example. It's another who is listed as an entertainment authenticator for them. I appreciate the heads-up and will stay away from this Ford item.

Very nice pieces, Pete. I love those full, legible signatures that you talk about. To me, nothing is more important than the quality of the signature.

I couldn't agree more. After spending decades collecting Ford and chasing him down in the city at different events and talk show appearances, it just became a waste of time to get him anymore. In the streets he either scribbles on an item with a horrible graph or signs in the worst possible area of the image. You can certainly pick up dozens of $350-$400 Fords on ebay, but would you ever really be happy with any of them?

I have kept less than beautiful graphs because I love the image or it is a multi signed piece, but I have spent the last 10 years selling off the pieces that I just don't love....and that still leaves nearly 150 pieces in the collection.

Wow! 150 - that's impressive, Pete. You are absolutely right. Really nice signatures should command a premium.

I just got a new JFK item that I really like, mainly because it is a rare signature style of his where every letter is legible. Most of his authentic signatures are actually highly ILLegible!
