Someones mad

Someone got popped selling a forgery

Yeah I'm pretty pissed when I get messages from people saying my name is being blasted on the internet just to find out its some yahoo who really does not know what he's talking about. I don't sell forgery, I am avid collector hopefully like most of you are and I take pride in my hobby. To be blasted for selling forgery is stupid, especially when you don't know what you are talking about. Maybe I'm wrong but its time for idiots like that to get off the internet

If you think my Mantle is a forgery, call GAI, 949-366-9500, the cert # is GV412271, let me know all it. I just got off the phone with them to confirm after reading the article.

You really need to call GAI<----who BTW is out of business, and you figure it out. You are the one who got stuck with the crap they authenticated or got paid to put a sticker on.

Not only that Rick, but Jeremy sold his Mickey Mantle forgery for $91.75.

oh.....GAI!!!  well that explains it. thank you for clarifying that.

HAHAHA GAI? They are the forgers favorite authenticator for a reason. Because as long as you have $ they would pass anything.

GAI!!! hahah

Who wishes morons would quit selling forgeries? Easiest way to quiet Chris Williams. I guarantee it.

Look, I'm not trying to be a dick about it, but think about it, I had it certified and authenticated, so if its a forgery, I am the victim. The article I read makes me out be some criminal out to get over on people by selling forgery. I am pretty sure if you are at all a decent person, this would piss you off as well. No one on this forum knows me and shouldn't act like they do.

An hour or 2 ago, after discovering this bs, I not only called GAI (who is not out of business btw) and have also emailed them photos were additional verification. If for some crazy reason it is a forgery I will be gladly apologize for my ignorance, but no matter the outcome I won't be treated like a scammer

GAI went  bankrupt back in 2009.  Before they went out of business, they certed thousands of forgeries.

The new company is Global Authentics.  As awful as I think Global Authentics is, they will deem your "Mantle" a forgery.

Jeremy, GAI is out of business. Recheck your facts. GA is the new company and not related to the old other then maintaining the verification database that GAI had.

This would piss me off but I would be mad at Mike Baker of GAI for authenticating it. You may very well have been unaware but doesn't change the fact that somebody pissed away $90 bucks on a fake.

Send it to JSA or PSA and it would be returned as not authentic. No question about it.
