Could it be rushed from an in-person encounter? Seems unlikely Guinness would add a sentiment if that was the case, but Pete Chuka would be the guy to ask.
By the way... you may have better luck with responses if you are more specific in the tile, e.g., add "Alec Guinness" to the title.
Thank you Steve, the auctioneer stated that the "wife told him he got it in person" but couldn't provide the location or date. Also, will make sure to add that next time when initiating a communication.
I don't think this is real. Alec's signature was good in person or through the mail and this does not look right. He hated signing Star Wars,items. Funny though, a few weeks before he died, he signed three of my Star Wars photos!
