OK, before you guys and gals start bashing me and say, "What are you thinking?!" I want everyone to know that I have already seen a lot of big red flags in this one! :) But, just in case I might be passing up a great deal, I wanted to check with you all first. At work in our classifieds, are autographs of Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Duke Snider, and Sandy Koufax, all for a good price, all having been authenticated. I inquired about these and asked who autehnticated them, could he send me pics, and how much. They guy responded that they were authenticated by a FORENSIC DOCUMENT EXAMINER out of FLORIDA named Nicholas Burczyk. He said that he has priced these autograped prints and photos to sell between $80 - $100 and sent me pictures of them. What do you guys think of these?

Mine and James Spences opinion is that all these items are likely forgeries.
wow, those are just horrible. Same tired poses, of the same tired forgeries. These can be purchased for a song on E-bay as about 1/2 the buyers are starting to figure the scam out. A GAI Mantle & Williams sold for 24.95 on e-bay the other day.

When anyone says item "comes with a COA", run don't walk away from the deal. Most likely, they are a scammer with a Birdchick, STAT, TTA or some other horrid forgery supporting company like AAU. Lot's of trash from that crook showing up lately too advertising as 'Pawn Stars Authentictor".

If we could get Birdchicks garbage off of e-bay that would be a victory.
Drew Max is AAU out of Las Vegas.
I don't know about these to give opinions on authenticity, but the name Nicholas Burczyk has only appeared associated with forgeries. We're not even sure he really exists.
Wow! I have never laughed so hard at you guys' responses! Especially you, fuddjcal! Steve, thank you so much for this forum so that people like me can network and become better educated collectors. And Gary, I am a probation officer by day and an autograph collector by night, so I already had plans to go to one of our investigators at the sheriff's office to see if they want to pursue anything, if these did not check out. And Big John Reznikoff, the things I noticed were: Duke Snider has never had a gap in his last name that I have ever seen, Willie Mays' famous "swoosh" at the top of his M's have always been tight and not all loosy goosy like these, Mickey Mantle ALWAYS signed in non-dark areas where you could see all of his signature (see pictures #1 and #2) and never curved his Y at the bottom (see picture #3,) and Ted Williams never had a big huge gap between the W and i in his last name. Thanks to everyone who responded. Please feel free to copy these and use these in your fakes and forgery exemplars.
A nice example of mantle, mays and snider is on the title page of a book about the three that just sold at heritage auctions.
