FEEL FREE TO SHARE YOUR T.T.M. OR S.A.S.E. BASEBALL AUTOGRAPHS YOU HAVE RECEIVED PAST OR PERESENT

Hello Fans...I figured I would throw this out there for strictly baseball collectors who seek to get autographs through the mail the old fashion way...directly from the player...I have received probably over 100 autos but stopped maybe 4 or 5 years ago when I lost my contact list...but recently started it up again and since then received a few autos through the mail since the end of July...it is now currently (August 2011) so now I am hooked once again...please feel free to add pictures and comments about the autographs you received from BASEBALL PLAYERS with a simple envelope and stamp and not something you have received through the mail from a winning auction...

Feel free to include autos you got for free and also Players that sent back a request for money as that also happens from time to time or even if they wrote you back which is also an added bonus and a rare treat...

LET ME KNOW...

HAPPY COLLECTING !!!!

8 DAY TURN AROUND...61 YEAR OLD 1950 BOWMAN CARD...INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY THE GREAT BOBBY DOERR...WHAT A GREAT CARD !!!!

Received this nice heart felt letter from Ms.Gil McDouglad today...I sent this some time ago but when I found out he passed away I couldn't believe it...my book wasn't updated and I wound up sending it but then found out he passed away after the fact...I am going to write a nice response letter back...

I'm sure she understands. He was such a nice guy... met him a few times at card shows and he seemed like such a gentleman.

RIP Gil, and Prayers for the family.

Which address did you send to Mike Moose? I heard he doesn't respond a while back but if he does I would love to mail out a request

I will shoot it over to you....he signed my 8 x 10 but sent out a cards months ago and still have not gotten it back...very weird...

Thanks I'd appreciate it.  Yeah, that's why I was surprised you got him TTM, he is very random with requests. I read in an article that he likes to do all of his mail two times a year and he basically just stocks them up and does it all at once rather than every week/day.  It's nice that you got him though, really nice piece.

I sometimes wonder if sending an 8x10 is better than a card... perhaps the large envelopes get "picked out" and responded to quicker than the regular-sized envelopes containing cards.

Just a thought...

67 DAY RETURN

9 day turn around.  Sent the 12th got back the 21st.

way to break the ice bud....keep sending them out
