Got a huge, unexpected surprise in the mail today. Received a 3" x 5" index card signed by Oscar award-winning actress Olympia Dukakis. And, she was kind enough to send back along with the index card, her own black and white personal 8" x 10" picture beautifully signed in silver Sharpie. What a class act by a classy lady.

After 20 days of no surprises, I got a nice one today. Recieved a 3x5 index card autographed by Matthew Broderick today. Nice, clean, legible signature. Class act by a classy guy.

A bit of updated HOLLYWOOD news:
Paul Stanley was a no-show tonight at the Gene and Paul signing at Barnes & Noble at The Grove in L.A. Nice of B&N to tell us that info at 6:00pm after we all had books (and many extra books at that). Gene said Paul was recovering from surgery. Gene instead of sitting at the table, WALKED through the line signing this 5 pound 2 and a half inch thick door stopper of a book. This thing is monsterous. Gene looked good, full of smiles and was in a great mood. He posed for photos w/ fans, but no memorabilia and no personalization.

Ringo Starr must have had over 1000+ people attending his STAR ceremony, including the L.A. City High School marching band. Full glitter, full lights, and a really great show. Though I got there late, I arrived just in time to hear Ringo's speech. The paparazzi were in FULL FORCE, 40+, but as they, and me, waited at the parking lot gates, Ringo, Barbara Bach, Joe Walsh and a few others went into a waiting van from the rear enterance and off in the night signing for no one.

Twilight Convention hits Minneapolis Mn in june I might go depending on whos in the guest listings I wish they would bring the Supernatural Conv, Smallville or even firefly to Minnesota
