This is something I've been wondering. Because of his Altzheimer's disease, I assume that at some point before his death, President Reagan was unable to sign autographs. What is the latest Reagan signature you've seen, that you think is not an autopen from between 1995-2004. The latest I've seen was from 1997. It was a checked filled out in Nancy's handwriting, but with Reagan's signature. Just wondered if anyone knew any more then I did.
Ryan ...Yes, for the most part. Reagan basically employed his mother as his personal secretary during his acting days. Unless a signature is provable in person, it is assumed that the signature is indeed secretarial.
I do have a signed edition of his first autobiography, "Where's the Rest of Me", that was after his mother had passed on. You can view it on my page here. I am willing to sell it, but PM for a price if any interest.
Thanks, JR
