Got the autograph of former Yankees, Rangers, and Indians pitcher Brad Arnsberg in the mail today. Brad had a really nice career in major league baseball, as he saved Nolan Ryan's 300th win, and later was the pitching coach for the Florida Marlins when they won the 2003 World Series.

I pulled this certified TNA autograph of Super Eric in a box of Impact cards that I bought yesterday.

Pretty cool, there, Dustin! I have had some of those wonderful experiences myself. I try not to do projects anymore, because it seems as though there is always that 1 hold out who refuses to sign the item, because, "...oh, that's not a licensed picture," or, "...yeah, I can't, you see I'm under a contract that does not allow this..." or something along those lines. I finally completed an 11x14 picture of the 300 Win Club in baseball a little over a year ago. Took me 5 years to do it, and the picture itself was 14 years old! I ran into countless issues with licensing, contracts, and at times greed from agents. It really took the fun out of it. So when I completed it, I did not get the full enjoyment of it or sense of accomplishment. I still have it, and enjoy how it turned out, but I vowed never again to try something on that scale.

This was in today's mail, a signed 1963 Topps Del Shofner card. Del was one of the greatest receivers of his era. He was voted the the NFL 1960s All-Decade Team, and was a 5-time All-Pro from 1957-1967. Collected 349 catches for 6,470 yards, and 51 touchdowns. In college, he was the MVP of the 1957 Sugar Bowl when Baylor beat Tennessee 13-7.

Go this in the mail on Wednesday....former Florida State University linebacker, Shelton Thompson. Shelton played for FSU from 1986-1989, and was the team's quarterback sack leader with 8.5 in 1989.

Since I'm so nice, the mail was delivered twice! Mailman came back around a second time this afternoon and dropped of this beautiful 1980-1981 Topps card autographed by former Flyers, Canucks, and Penguins defenceman, Kevin McCarthy. Kevin was an All-Star in 1981, and served as the Canucks captain from 1979-1982, including that magical 1981-1982 season where he was one of the driving forces along with Stan Smyl for the Canucks Campbell Confrence championship that season. He helped win a Stanley Cup title in 2006 as an assistant coach for the Hurricanes, and he is now an assistant coach for the Flyers.

Got this in the mail today, former Florida State University great, Mark Salva. Mark was an offensive lineman for the Seminoles from 1984-1987, and was a key member of that squad that went 11-1 in 1987 and beat Nebraska in the Fiesta Bowl.

Hey Mike...I'm unable to post to your "Hammerin' Hank Autograph?" thread, so I got to do it here....Here's my JSA certified autograph of Aaron. This is from around 1992 from what the dealer I bought it from said. Mine looks similar to the one you are considering buying, but there is a difference in the H.

Got this one in the mail on Friday; the 2003 Masters Champion, Mike Weir. Mike is a fantastic golfer and really shined at the Masters that year. He outlasted an onslaught of great play from golfing greats Phil Mickleson and Jim Furyk, and bested Len Mattiace in a one-hole playoff to win.
