Got an autograph of former Florida State All-American and Super Bowl XXIV champion wide receiver, Ron Lewis, and a preprint 4x6 picture from 7-time Cy Young Award winning pitcher, Roger Clemens.

I got in the mail today an autograph from former Notre Dame and Atlanta Falcon great, John Scully. John played center, and was a member of that legendary 1977 National Championship team at Notre Dame, and would go on to become an All-American in 1980. He was drafted by the Falcons in 1981, and enjoyed a nice 10 year NFL career in Atlanta.

Today's mail brought me the autograph of former Bengals and Cowboys defensive back, Ray Horton. Ray helped guide the Bengals to the AFC Championship in 1988 and into Super Bowl XXIII, where the Bengals came up short to the 49ers. Ray would get another shot at a Super Bowl championship as a key contributing member of the Cowboys defense, which lead the way to a victory over the Bills in Super Bowl XXVII. Ray coached the Steelers defensive backs on their Super Bowl XL and XLIII championship teams, and is now with the Cardinals as their defensive backs coach.

Today's mail brought me the autograph of former Florida State linebacker, Terry Warren. Terry was an All-American in 1987, and was a key part of that team who went 11-1 and finished #2 in the country after a win over Nebraska in the Fiesta Bowl.

Today's mail brought me the autograph of former Florida State University kicker, Barry Barco. Barry was the kickoff specialist for Florida State from 1983-1985, and teamed with punter Louis Berry and placekicker Derek Schmidt to form one of the best special teams units in the country at the time.

To finish the week off, I picked up a box of 2008 TNA Wrestling cards at my local Target this morning, and pulled an autograph of TNA founder, Jeff Jarrett. Jeff founded TNA in 2002, and was a 4-time World Champion in WCW, and 6-time Intercontinental Champion in WWE.

Today's mail brought me the autograph of former cornerback, Martin Mayhew. Martin was an All-American at Florida State in 1987, and helped lead the Washington Redskins to victory in Super Bowl XXVI. He is a tough autograph to get. According to http://www.sportscollectors.net, he has not signed an autograph thru the mail in 4 years. I just want to say thank you so much, Mr. Mayhew, for sigining an autograph for me this week!

Today's mail brought me the autograph of former Notre Dame punter, Vince Phelan. Vince played for Notre Dame from 1986-1987, and was the starting punter for the Irish in 1987 when they went 8-3 and to the Cotton Bowl.

As if getting Ryne Sandberg weren't enough, I was able to score a nice Georgia Tech sports legend through the mail today. Former offensive guard and leader on that great 1985 Georgia Tech Hall of Fame Bowl championship team, Dean Weaver, signed a nice Collegiate Collections card for me.
