Today's mail at work this morning brought me an autographed 8x10 of former All-Star catcher, Darren Daulton. Darren was a 3-time National League All-Star, the 1992 NL leader in RBIs with 109, the 1997 NL Comeback Player of the Year, and was a World Series hero for the Marlins by batting .389 in the 1997 series.
John....I'm from Woodstock, GA, so any player appearances I know about will be in the Atlanta area.
where from jeffery??
Hey, John.........there use to be a thread that listed events and such, and I put a few things that I was able to find out about on there, but I don't think it ever generated much interest, so I think they shut it down. I guess I could start posting some appearances on this forum when I find out about them. Where you from?
lve asked this before but is there a thread that tells where players are going to be signing--not paid signings but store openings, store promotion, or just seeing a flyer ??
Today's mail brought me the autograph of PGA legends, J.C. Snead and Don January, and former Florida State quarterback and current Middle Tennessee State University head football coach, Rick Stockstill. Mr. Snead won the 1995 Senior PGA Chamionship, beating Jack Nicklaus in a 1-hole playoff. Mr. January won the 1967 PGA Championship, beating Don Massengale in an epic 18-hole playoff by 2 strokes. Coach Stockstill was one of the very best quarterbacks in Florida State history, guiding FSU to a top 5 ranking as a junior in 1980, and an upset win over Ohio State in Columbus, OH, at The Horseshoe as a senior in 1981.
Got the autograph of former Florida State All-American kicker, Derek Schmidt through the mail on Friday. Derek was a fantastic kicker for Florida State from 1984-1987, and was an All-American all 4 years. At the end of his career at FSU, he was the NCAA's all-time leading scorer.
I recieved my Jim Kelly photo back today autograph by the Hall of Fame quarterback of the Bills. The crazy part of it, I had given up hope long ago. I sent the photo out on 1/9/09 along with the required donation to Hunter's Hope Foundation. It took eight months for my check to clear the bank and 3 years to get the photo back. I'm assuming it got shuffled aside at some point. Oh well, better late than never!
They all look good to me, Adam. And you do have LaRussa, kind of off to the left on the sweet spot.
