Those were 2 of the best receivers in the business, wjfranz! Nice job on getting those. Today's mail brought the autograph of Pro Football Hall of Famer, Jim Langer. Jim was one of the greatest centers of all-time. He helped the Dolphins to an undefeated season in 1972, 2 Super Bowl championships, and was First Team All-Pro from 1975-1977.

Went to Direct Auto Insurance off Joseph E. Lowery Blvd. in Atlanta, GA, today and got the autographs of TNA Wrestlers "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero and Mickie James, as well as TNA Wrestling announcer and personality, Jeremy Borash. "The Pope" is one of the top wrestlers in TNA, and will probably be one of TNA's champions one day. Mickie James is currently the TNA Knockouts Division champion (i.e. the women's champion for TNA,) and Jeremy Borash does a really nice job as ring announcer, interviewer, and promoter for TNA. All were so very nice and personable with everyone who attend. All who attended had such a great time!

Got the autograph of Sam Grezaffi in the mail today. Sam was an All-SEC defensive back and kick returner for LSU from 1965-1967.

Went to day 3 of the Atlanta Braves Alumni Weekend yesterday, mainly to work on a few projects that involved many of the people I mentioned in my previous entry. I did, however, pick up an autograph that I did not already have. I was able to obtain the autograph of former Braves third base and infield coach, Jimy Williams. Jimy was with the Braves coaching staff from 1991-1996, but also played for the Cardinals from 1966-1967, and managed the Blue Jays, Red Sox, and Astros in his major league baseball career, too. In 1999, he was the American League manager of the year, guiding the Red Sox to 94 wins that season.

Wow! What a day! Went to day 1 of the 2nd annual Atlanta Braves Alumni Weekend today, and scored autographs of many of my childhood heros and older legendary Braves I have read about and always wanted to meet: David Justice, Kent Mercker, and Clarence Jones all signed my 1995 World Series ball; Jim Nash, Tommy Gregg, Denny Neagle, Greg McMichael, and Brian Hunter signed a Braves collage I started; and Steve Avery, Mike Bielecki, Johnny Estrada, Mike Heath, Javier Lopez, Todd Pratt, Pete Smith, Jeff Treadway, and Earl Williams all signed trading cards I had of them. I had such a good time rubbing elbows with all these great players!

Wonderful past 2 days. Went to Falcons training camp yesterday and secured the autographs of this years Falcons rookie free-agent class. Not sure how many of these guys will make the team, but a good many will. Then, today's mail brought me the autographs of LSU basketball legend, Bobby Lowther, and former U.S. Olympic track star, Carl Lewis! I am really excited about these. Mr. Lowther was an All-American basketball player and track athlete for LSU back in the 1940's, and to this very day, is the ONLY 2 sport All-American in LSU history. Plus, he flew a combat mission in World War II. How cool is that?! And Mr. Lewis won 9 gold and 1 silver medals in 4 different Olympics from 1984-1996. He is one of the most beloved Olympic athletes of all-time.

Got another one today. Got the autograph of former Georgia Tech head football coach, Bobby Ross. Bobby was one of the very best coaches in Tech's history. He guided the 1990 Yellow Jackets to a victory over Nebraska in the Citrus Bowl, and a share of the National Championship.
