Looks like Reggie signed that card like a real jerk as you say its authentic...Reggie Jackson is known for being unpleasant even when paying for an autograph...and getting him for free can cause and even harder challenge...Reggie Jackson is a very UNPLEASANT person to meet live in the flesh and not at all fan friendly as I will be doing a piece on him sooner or later... here is an auto I got from him last year on my yankees chair...the first auto of many since then...he also signs better in better moods i have noticed...

Another really nice mail day. Got the autograph of former Georgia Tech All-American and PGA Tour pro, Tripp Isenhour. Tripp was an All-American at Georgia Tech in 1990, and had a nice pro golf career, winning 4 Nationwide Tour events, the Trinidad Open and Kansas Open in 1998, and made the cut at 3 U.S. Open tournaments in 2001, 2004, and 2007. Not only did he sign my 1991 Georgia Tech Collegiate Collections card I sent of him, but he also personalized and signed a BEAUTIFUL 8x10! What a classy guy! Many thanks!

Yesterday, I got the autographs of Pro Football Hall of Famer Chris Hanburger, and former LSU defensive lineman from 1968-1970 John Sage. Chris was a 9-time Pro Bowl selection, and was an absolute force at linebacker from 1965-1978 for the Redskins. John was an Academic All-American in 1970, and developed into a very successful business man, and later founded the non-profit Bridges to Life organization, which specializes in helping crime victims face their perpetrators. He has an amazing personal story. I encourage all to google him and read about it; truly inspirational.

Thanks for the comment, Saul. I've gotten over the whole Fingers incident now, and have decided to let it go, and should there ever be an in-person oppurtunity for charity or whatever, I'll get it then. I did get Hockey Hall of Famer Bryan Trottier in the mail yesterday, so I am feeling pretty good right now!

Hi -I would NEVER pay a celebrity for their autograph. Rollie "Greasy" Fingers should pay you for remembering who the H#l he is and what he was famous for. He has proven to be not wothy of your admiration let alone your time and money. The only acceptable exception to this is if an autograph signing is contingent a contribution to a charity.

Yesterday, I got in the mail the autograph of former football great, Billy Martin. Billy was an All-American at Georgia Tech in 1963, ad played for the Bears, Falcons, and Vikings from 1964-1968.

Got a return from Rollie Fingers this weekend. No autograph on my Hall of Fame plaque card I have of him, as he sent it back with a note saying "No money in envelope" and to send it back with $15. Where did my money go? I know I put $10 in there; if it were not enough, why not send my money back with the card? Did someone take it? I'm so confused, frustrated, disappointed, etc. Would appreciate anyone's opinion on where I might have gone wrong or if I'm missing something.
