Collector, Professional Authenticator, Dealer
What would you like to tell us about yourself, your collecting, or business.
Brandon Mysinger has painstakingly acquired the most extensive NASCAR autograph exemplar collection in the hobby today. Brandon has acquired his authentication skills by working close with several top name drivers while learning the different variations to each autograph. These skills are honed by using forensic skills to further fine tune Brandon's authentication abilities. Brandon's opinion is valued by several authentication companies, Autograph Magazine, and auction houses such as ebay. Brandon's EXTENSIVE Exemplar collection holds a vast number of collected variations from each NASCAR driver throughout the past 21 years and beyond which aid in the continuing education of this hobby.
Brandon has obtained such an extensive Autograph collection Over the last 18 years by obtaining the drivers autographs in-person and working with various drivers and teams at many NASCAR tracks and special autograph events. His collected autographs range from drivers in the 1950's to current Super Star drivers and Rookies. Brandon has authored articles published in Autograph Collector magazine that focuses on signature studies and is currently writing a book regarding the NASCAR Autograph hobby and it's history.
Brandon's extensive research and consulting work with other industry experts make his opinion the most sought after in the hobby when in comes to NASCAR signatures. Brandon is the ONLY recognized NASCAR Autograph expert in the United States of America and is a member of Global Authentication's Authentication Team. Brandon also works VERY close with ebay's fraud division on a daily basis. With Brandon's help, HUNDREDS of NASCAR forgeries have been removed from the marketplace each year.
Brandon's goal in the hobby is to simply help educate the buyers and to remove as many forgeries as possible within the marketplace. Brandon continuously render's his opinion for to ANY customer who seeks his assistance he enjoy's the personal contact with customers which allows him to ensure that the customer has a clear understanding of the item in question. Brandon has time and again shown that authentication should be less about making money and more about educating buyers in hopes that they will not be a victim of a forgery.
Brandon's current opinion is that NASCAR autograph forgeries are on the rise faster than ANY other section of the hobby. This is mirrored by NASCAR's international growth and continuous gaining of popularity. The huge DEMAND of NASCAR driver's autographs can not meet up with the supply. Though it may be that EVERY NASCAR driver signs HUNDREDS of autographs a week during the race season, the supply can not be met in the market due to the high number of COLLECTOR'S who keep the autographs out of the commercial system.

Brandon,
Great NASCAR article. I wish Chicagoland had an autograph alley, unless the drivers make an appearance at their merchandise trailer you are pretty much out of luck. Regular pit passes there are a complete waste of money now. Fortunately some of the drivers do make appearances around town the days leading up to the race. If they ever allow testing again I highly recommend going to the Daytona test sessions on Fan Fest day and going into the infield right away in the morning. The drivers are great at signing at their garage windows. I was also hoping you could take a look at my Dale Earnhardt autograph and give me your opinion. It's one of the few that I did not get in person. Let me know what you think if you could.
hello, Brandon what our your thoughts on race car driver paul mernard? My family and i met him during our opening of our local mernards store last summer. He seemed very nice and signed autographs while also taking pictures with us. Take care robert
Brandon, thanks for you honest assessment of my Dale Earnhardt autograph. I had my doubts about it myself. I look forward to your future articles. Take Care, Bill
Hi Mr. Mysinger, I recently bought this autographed Jeff Gordon car and was wondering if you could see if it is authentic. I was kinda between sides on the authenticity of it so I thought you could check it out for me. Thanks, Heath
Hello Brandon, Due you know anything about allstar lineup from canada? They put your message by the drivers autograph. My question is our the drivers autographs real in the pictures or a simile? Thanks- robert
Awwww man thanks for the info on my Gordon Rookie Brandon. (Fake)

I just wanted to inform you that we had major changes on www.isitreal.com. The ongoing fights particular in our forum and a huge German forgery case where the source was an ISITREAL expert for the Italian Soccer field we decided on our meeting that we only work together with the German based experts who will be able to meet once a year.
You know that I have the highest respect to you and thank you for your support in the past and hopefully you will understand that this changes become neccesary and requested by the team which have absolute nothing to do with you personally.
Brandon,
I would prefer a 3x5 signed index card of Dale Sr, but I would take an 8x10 photo or a trading card. I am looking to start a NASCAR HOF collection. I will be attending the induction ceremonies in May.
Dustin- I would say, "Yes." I know you were wanting Brandon's trusted opinion, but here are some additional exemplars that have some of the same characteristics. I would say that those look a little funny because of where the autograph is placed on the card. -John
Brandon, Hi just joined and would like to have your opinion on e-bay item 180476778870 I just bought it and a I hope I did'nt get ripped off, I do not think I did because the seller had good marks. Also how could I get a COA from you and how much would it be.
I was told to come to you about some questions I have about getting an autograph authenticated. The autograph comes from Clint Bowyer on raced used gloves. I do have pictures and posted them in the Nascar forum area. I don't know how to go about getting them authenticated nor do I know you is reputable in that. I was wondering if you would be able to help. It woul dbe greatly appreciated.
thank you so much the vard has mild damage but still glad i own it, btw i didn't even know i could see your messages here i just joined yesterday, so i been looking on the boards the whole time, but thanks again. : )
Mr. Mysinger I have this Dale Sr. / Richard Childress autograph card. I showed it to 3 different dealers at the card show in Raliegh NC this past weekend and all jumped all over saying it was real. I went to get it checked out by JSA and they said it was fake. I was given your name and told you where great at Dale sr. auto and was wondering if you could help me out. Any help would be great just tel what i need to do so you can see the card
Hey Brandon I'm looking for a Forrest Lewis cut also dick Elliott and Stanley Adams! Do u have any of these or know where I might find them? Thanks man hope you had a great Christmas and a Many blessings in 2013!
I have two Jeff Gordon 1:24 scale diecasts signed on the windshield by Jeff Gordon(or that's what I was led to believe). I purchased them from a tent selling diecasts at Loudon New Hampshire. The tent was set up inside the racing grounds and I purchased them thinking if they were inside the grounds they must be real. I did not receive a COA or any documentation of their authenticity.
Would you be able to look them over real quick and check out their authenticity?
If so, where would you like me to send the pictures?
Since we had to sign a memo of non-disclosure with Left Field, I cannot say some things. I knew the signature on the tire was the real deal, and my guess is that the PS "drama" needed to be played. My "suspicions" were that they had three different ways to disavow the tire. (The authenticity of the tire and the track and dates it was used I got from GoodYear.) But Drew's was more the dramatic version since they probably wanted an "expert" segment right before race season. I do not think the producers were ignorant of anything - they had a show to produce. Their big hook was that, allegedly, nobody had ever seen Earnhardt's signature with w "#3". Whatever. I still have my tire (though my asking price was to be $1500.00 and I could have lost it for that) and a bit of a story.
We took the tire back home the way we got it there - my friends at Southwest Airlines (imagine that thing in an oversized box, somewhat overweight, and reeking of NASCAR rubber and fuel). It is in my garage, where it belongs.
Thanks - I appreciate your input. Your confirmation offsets the disavowal nicely.

Do you think you could check out ebay # 390099818648 for me? This seems like a GREAT deal, so that's why I am doubtful these sigs are real.
Thanks!
