Hi Antonio,
I have been collecting autographed photos of boxers since the 1980's.....I have over 2000 autographs in my collection. I wrote to Johnny and he kindly sent me the signed photo and a letter. Sadly....not long after his reply, he was involved in a road traffic collision and nearly lost his life.
I have many letters from boxers as that was the only way to communicate then. Nowadays I contact them via Facebook. I have just received an autograph book that I sent to a former boxer over 2 years ago.
I cheekily asked him if he would get me some autographs, as he attend many ex-boxers conventions.
When I received the book ...it was full of some great names....Manny Pacquaio, Freddie Roach, Sugar Ray Leonard, Bonecrusher Smith, Carlos Palomino, Miguel Canto, Ruben Olivares, Jose Napoles, Carlos Ortiz and many many more.
It is a fantastic book. I also have 5 Muhammad Ali autographs.
Are you a boxing fan ????
