"Plus you can see on the harmonica the bottom part of the signature got wiped off a little before the ink set so I'm sure that doesnt help"

"I dont see him (the cousin) often but when I do I always ask him about it.  I want to say he said at least 15 years ago.  Hes easily in his mid 50s though, so it has to have been a while."

Brian Cottrell replied to Susan Thames's discussion WHY DO SOME CELEBRITIES MAKE IT SO DIFFICULT TO GET THEIR AUTOGRAPH?
"Too funny/weird.  I have 3 of his autographs, 1 of which he signed on a harmonica he had in his pocket and gave to my girlfriends cousin.  I was told he was super high at the time though lol"

"Thank you, that really means a lot coming from you.  There was some question as to how the first one ends with kind of a curly cue instead of the "t" being crossed.  But Mr Epperson was nice enough to write me a few paragraphs…"

"You're right, there are other ways to protect them. Topsiders are often a great way to go. Put them in a plastic sleeve if you're worried about liquids getting inside. If you have Epperson LOAs already you're fine. Your Claptons are…"

Brian Cottrell replied to Brian Cottrell's discussion What's the best authenticity company?
"Wow Steve, thank you so much for the really sound advice. They both already have the full Epperson LOAs.  Another reason I wanted them slabbed was to help protect them but after your words of wisdom I realise theres plenty of other ways to keep…"

Steve Cyrkin, Community Manager replied to Brian Cottrell's discussion What's the best authenticity company?
"Brian, If you're not planning to sell for years and you're comfortable with authenticity, then I'd wait until you're ready to sell before having them slabbed. That's because you don't know which TPA will be the most…"
