"Thanks for the heads-up, Bruce.  Alas, i fear that the UK region 2 release wont contain all you mentioned above. I'll certainly have a look for it though. Cheers!"

Judge Nutmeg replied to Joe W.'s discussion Reprints. Would are your thoughts.
"I'm of the opinion that reprints take away the whole flavour of autograph collecting. Personally, i collect autographs in order to have a direct connection with the individual who signed the piece. A reprint is just as far removed from a forged…"

Judge Nutmeg replied to James's discussion Could a signed carbon duplicate receipt be a “real” autograph?
"Indeed, it seems so obvious (now that you've pointed it out), authentic autographs would probably be much easier to replicate on carbon copies.  I think you've put me off Carbons for life. Pleased i stopped before i started. "

Judge Nutmeg replied to James's discussion Could a signed carbon duplicate receipt be a “real” autograph?
"Do you think carbons would have more chance of being authentic? In other words, as carbon copies were used for official purposes, could there be less secretarial signings?"

"Abuse is best served gently tossed rather than hurled, so it sneaks up, then dawns on you, and completely takes you by surprise, with a pair of roguish eyes!"
