"I would avoid any single word "graphs". They are not autographs and are usually trimmed to some ridiculous shape. Low Quality even if genuine."

"I would pass on it without question -  tiny irregular cut of a single word. Does it say "April"? Is "June" more valuable? "The"? Hard pass."

Replication of a Letter of Authenticity

I've seen displays where a word from the letter has been cut out and sold as authentic handwriting, in doing so, replicating the LOA and attaching it to show the word came from a letter certified as authentic. My question is if you cut a word out of a letter, wouldn't that cut need to be individually certified as it is no longer a part of the letter as a whole? What brings you to Autograph Live?
I am a collector of autographs, obtained via in person or TTM.
Since being new to the industry, I'm seeking out a mentor to assist me in autograph knowledge, making sure I use the correct authenticator, obtaining legal signatures (highly against autopen and those who use it), and getting to know other collectors and sports dealers to share our passion of collecting.
My goal is to start and operate my own sports memorabilia gallery and frame shop.

I obtain many autographs TTM, mainly collect sports, Chicago Bulls more than any. Huge basketball fan and always looking deeper into players in the NBA.

What is your favorite autograph in your collection?
Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen duo signed photo, and an Emmitt Smith Cowboys Thanksgiving Jersey
Why do you collect?
It's a hobby of mine to collect autographs, especially basketball players. I also collect to build an inventory for a future business in sports memorabilia.
