What would you like to tell us about yourself, your collecting, or business.

I collect mostly signed first edition books. Presidents, astronauts, historical figures and Authors primarily though I do have some musicians and actors.

I'm joining to learn from like-minded collectors and if possible to help when I can.

Why do you collect?

I've loved books since I was a child and I've long been fascinated by the signatures of famous people. It's become kind of an obsession.

What is your favorite autograph in your collection?

I have a very nice signed Hemingway. I also have some books that were signed by FDR and given to his mistress (also signed by her) one of which bears a tiny "MM" in his hand which I discovered stands for "My Margaret" - very interesting.
