I just saw him in NYC and didnt even bother asking for autograph. He has a fake hand and no longer signs. He just does photo with people now. I was able to get other Dark Knight Rises autographs during NYC promotion.

What do yo mean, "he has a fake hand"? Was he injured?

he got into a car accident not too long ago and injured his left hand. if you look at recent photos on getty/wireimage, you'll see that he has a glove and likes to keep it out of site. It largely contributes to the fact that he doesnt sign. He'll do a photo with if you get him with not too many people around.

I've actually got him when he promoted Million Dollar baby at the today show . I guess that was a long time ago.

I don't understand why winning an Oscar has anything to do with signing autographs. Oh well, I'm not Morgan Freeman, am I?  I would get sick of signing too after all the years.

I looked it up and it is his hand, just still has severe nerve damage from the old wreck.
