Autographs for Sale if...Your Name is BILL !!!

So, I just moved into a new place. It's always fun when you do that, to go through all your autographs and admire the things you've acquired over the years.

Anyway, I have about 100 albums...well, maybe 50...that I bought from an estate sale. They're all autographed "To Bill" or "Bill." They're usually followed by something along the lines of "best wishes" but usually, more like "Thank you so much for all of your support."

There are some big, big names in this collection, from 50s 60s and 70s musicians/singers.

I'm not the biggest fan of personalized autographs, and I'd be willing to sell these at a good price (I remember buying them at a good price). That doesn't mean I want to give them away.

There is absolutely NO DOUBT that these autographs are authentic, either. But I'd gladly give a money back guarantee if somebody deems one not to be.

Anyway, if there are any Bill's on this site...or somebody that just doesn't mind personalized autographs (some collectors like that more, because they were less likely to be forged, as a forger realizes they're worth a bit less, and it's more writing in the celebrities hand that can be analyzed to be proven fake; therefore, some collectors would prefer that).

I don't want to go all through the albums and tell you the artists...UNLESS I get a few messages here from folks that express interest.

So, what do you guys think?

I would certainly be interested in the Brian Wilson autograph (sent a message awhile back) as well as Lindsey Buckingham, but I do agree that photos are incredibly beneficial.

I can type 120 words per minute, so typing descriptions is nothing for me. Downloading photos, after having my girlfriend take the photos, is a bit more difficult.

If somebody does inquire about a specific album, I will send them a photo. I can totally understand what you guys are saying, that you don't want to buy it sight unseen. So, if you email me on a specific album or two, and are interested...I'll quote you a price. If you're happy with that price, THEN I will send a photo. I'd hate to go thru the trouble of doing that, if we aren't even on the same page regarding the price.

Also, at the end of the day, I really don't mind if I don't sell them. Again, that's the luxury of not running a business, just being a collector...that isn't all that interested in having pieces that are personalized to somebody else, or...ones I have a lot of multiples on.

What's your offer?  I'm sure I will find something of interest or for that classic collector.  I don't need a list of names, offer?

One of the reasons I don't do photos...I just spent 5 minutes trying to take a photo of the Arthur Lee / Love album. It kept giving me this glare from the flash of the camera. I came in at all different angles. Finally, got 3 photos that I thought worked and the person decided they weren't interested. Which is exactly what I'm trying to avoid. Spending extra time doing photos and such, just for people to low-ball me on a price, or decide they aren't interested, because they'll ask me instead "can you sell a Bette Midler album for $15." Come on, people!!!!

Linda, email me directly: joshboard87@gmail.com

Linda, I see you're looking for a Bee Gees. I have three albums signed, and would be willing to part with one.

Also, I have 5 books signed by Jimmy Carter, if you're interested in one of those (neither of those items are personalized).

Again, email me directly.

Why not just list prices like you listed the autographs & descriptions? That way, people don't need to back & forth.

I'm interested in a couple of these, but not sight unseen and wholly dependent on the price. I don't want to waste my time or yours with back & forths just to find out that I can't afford them.

Since I've had a few people ask about the Beach Boys, here's the photo (I noticed it is Mike Love signed in ballpoint pen, writing "Beach Boys" after his name, with Brian Wilson signing over it in marker (you can read both names, though)
