Those are general, "low ball", AS OF THIS MOMENT, starting prices that the market has given us recently. They could be on anything from a slip of paper, to a 8x10 glossy photograph. In Nascar, the item the signature is on carries a LOT of weight as to the actual value that the item generates on the market.

I have a Kenny Irwin Chase Jacket with his autograph on the back.  Does anyone know what the value of this jacket would be.  Thanks

I have a hat from the Watkins Glen race the year JD McDuffie died - it has Davey Allison, Alan Kulwicki and JD McDuffie signatures on it.  What would it be worth?

If authentic, it would be a fair amount. Not as high as people think though. Please post images and I will try to give you a better estimate once we determine the signatures' authenticity

Here are the pictures -- I was wrong it was from 1990 at Watkins, the year before JD McDuffie died.  Also, have other signtures - Jimmy Spencer, Derik Cope, JP Morgan and in the 5th picture is the one signature that I'm not sure

Kathy,

The hat is 100% authentic.  Sadly, The Glen is where J.D. McDuffie lost his life in 1991.  This helps the value of the hat. However, even with the added signatures, it's a $200--$300 item in the absolute best market.  That means that you find a buyer that really needs and wants an item like this.  Were it a photo, poster, program, it would price higher.  Also, if it had a few higher profile drivers on it, it would price higher.

The signature you are not sure of is Kyle Petty.

All of the signatues are BEAUTIFUL!

I hope this help!!

This is a Hat that was autographed during the 86, 87 season. Nothing I would sell but was curious as to what the value would be also the last photo I don't know who it would be. I know it is a Duke hat (nothing of value as a hat) but it does have Tim Richmonds and Neil Bonett's autograph as well as Richard Petty, Dave Marcis, Bobby Allison, Geoff Bodine, Morgan Sheppard and Ricky Rudd. Just would like to know what I have. Thanks

Hits really hard to give a value on an item like this. I have seen similar items sell for over $1000 in the past few years and as low as $200 as well
