When does an autographed Mickey Mantle baseball with the inscription "NO 7" sell for a whopping $295.00?

When it's a laughable and mass-produced forgery from the 1990's.

This baseball, if authentic, would easily sell for over $500.00 easily.

What a waste of $295.00.

Does the person who won this really think they got an authentic Mickey Mantle autograph  with the inscription "NO 7" for $295.00!!!

Crap like this sells because Ebay continues to be heavily-populated with delusional autograph collectors and impulse buyers who have this notion that Ebay filters out the forgeries.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  Ebay has profited big-time from the sales of forgeries for the past twenty years.
