Before I continue, below are links showing hundreds of examples of forged Mickey Mantle baseballs, photos, etc. found on Ebay (the most dangerous place to buy autographs if you're a casual collector or impulse buyer).

Check out the below forged Mickey Mantle baseball sold by Ebay seller Danishguy0.
This crap sold for $425.00.
A total waste of $425.00!!!
Ebay continues to be a cesspool of forgeries. Sellers of forgeries are very aware that Ebay is heavily-populated with delusional autograph collectors and impulse buyers.
Forgeries are a huge business on Ebay.
It's 2021 and people are still buying worthless garbage like this!!!
This crap sells because Ebay is heavily-populated with delusional autograph collectors and impulse.
And the buyers on Ebay have this notion that Ebay filters out forgeries; nothing could further from the truth. In my opinion, Ebay encourages the selling of forgeries but doing nothing about them.
Look at this 1990's mass-produced Mickey Mantle forgery on baseball sold by Ebay seller Danishguy0 for $425.00.
I hope the buyer submits this "Mantle" to Beckett, JSA or PSA.
They will deem it a forgery in a millisecond.
