Signed Beatles VI Album from Antiquities—Your Advice Needed

I was recently in Las Vegas at Antiquities and being a newby I was excited about seeing all the history in front of me. I purchased a Beatles V1 signed by all four. After getting home, I had buyers remorse. I then began to check on COA,s signed by Chris Morales and found that his authentications have been called into question. I read your article on the Forgers Best Friend. I have since been in contact with the owner of Antiquities, Toby Stoffa by emails. I asked her for a history of this album and she explained that she had acquired it from Col. Myron Ross and Thomas Riccio, both with questionable backgrounds. I explained to her that I was getting the signatures authenticated by a respected authenticator here in Canada. She agreed to this person. My question is has anyone else ever had a bad experience with Antiquities Las Vegas and was the been problem resolved?

absolutely nothing.  The other thread, referenced below, but do post added pictures of the findings or pictures etc.. of it here in case other's happen to stumble upon it in the future.

Also take exceptional precautions & packaging pictures including certified receipt on it's return so noone can claim otherwise.

thats great news.  i would send it back insured for the value that you paid for it.  I have seen less than ethical sellers destroy a piece I returned, and I was out the money.

Great to hear!  Make sure you send it so they have to sign for it.

Ron, what is FDE?  Are they a good authentication company to use?

Forensic Document Examiner or I took a 3 credit course in some cases.

Ron,

If Antiquities doesn't sell your forged Beatles album to another unsuspecting victim, they'll sell them another one. Right now focus on getting your money back.

What did the forensic document examiner charge you, and can you post the report?

I would love to see Ron get his money back.

From what I've observed over the past few years, the Beatles continue to do private signings for Toby Stoffa.
