I bought this autograph in an online auction with a COA from Los Angeles Rocks.  Is it real?

Sorry, but I think it's a neatly drawn rendition of a Janis autograph in silver sharpie.

I don't recall silver sharpies in the late 1960's.  Lots of pens we have today weren't around then.  I used to get autographs with a grease pencil or a prismacolor in order to get a signature in color.  Can any experts comment on when sharpies and then metallic sharpies became common?

What online auction was it in?  I doubt it is authentic as I've never seen a "Janis" with a sharpie!

It was on eBay.

I bought it on Proxibid.  I did list it on eBay, but began to think there was a problem with it.

No way!

In my opinion this is not real. It is very rare to find a signed album by Janis Joplin.
