Brenda, my research shows that John M. Stotsenberg was a Captain of the 6th U.S.Cavalry and a Colonel of the First Nebraska Volunteers. He was killed in the Philippines while leading his regiment in action on April 23, 1899. Clark Air Base was originally established as Fort Stotsenburg in Sapang Bato, Angeles, in the Philippines in 1903 under control of the U.S. Army. Don't know the value of his autograph. It would have some value to a military collector. Depends on content.
