I'm sorry, Wreck It Ralph was horrible.  I saw it with my kids and couldn't wait for it to be over.  Toy Story 3 should be on the list before this one.

I also agree with Inglorious Bastards!  Great film!

Toy Story 3 was great, but...it borrowed to many of the themes from the previous films (the toys being abandon).

Wreck It Ralph was AMAZING!!!! Video game characters at an AA meeting. Briliant!

Inglorious Basterds started as a great film, but the second half was a mess. Tarantino never knows how to complete a proper 3rd act.

Yes, the 21st Century did start in 2001, but...since the BBC list started it at 2000, so did I.

Regarding Lord of the Rings...I hate to admit this, especially as a movie critic...I DIDN'T SEE THEM!!!!

Ian....Gone Girl was pretty good. But, it had a few major flaws. The fact that once the gal shows back up..she'd be in jail. And he wouldn't stay. Also...there's no way he's bringing a woman in to sleep with while being investigated, just a few days after, his wife disappeared.

The Martin Scorsese movies mentioned -- Shutter Island, Aviator, good, but flawed. The Departed -- amazing cast, but so far fetched, it took me out of the picture. The psychiatrist is NOT sleeping with a patient and giving him illegal perscriptions. Nicholson's character isn't walking into a store he's shaking down, and talking about their 14 year old daughter in front of them. Too many incidents like that, and it takes me out of the picture.

I better say I like a 21 century film or someone will put it on facebook, that Paul's a c##t and then somebody will like that!

I guess I am nor a huge fan of this list, and it isn't whether I agree or disagree with what you picked. Taste is suggestive. However when you have one person compiling a list of 100 great movies on their own you often can't differentiate between what is a great movie, and what is one of your own favorites.

As you said, you haven't even seen Lord Of The Rings? One person couldn't possibly have seen every movie released in the 21st Century, so it makes sense to poll over 100 film critics and gather a chart of the best off of that...Once again being subjective.

I almost feel this list, or anyone else who would solely compile a list, lets bias in. Clearly you and George Constanza have a bit in common--A love of Marissa Tomei. :)

Well Adam, I saw 98% of all movies released, so it's a pretty comprehensive list of everything...although you're right, it's one persons list.

You filthy animal, the movie Home alone in the old days, when he is playing the old film to scare the criminals off.
