Roger Epperson vs Cori Broswavic (Raiderman) Lawsuit Ends With Epperson Winning

I was just pulling thru some information on one of the blogs and came across this.

Felt it should be deserving of it's own blog.  Any Updates?

It's like an episode of "The Twilight Zone"

You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's the signpost up ahead— your next stop, the Twilight Zone!

Here's a comparison of a few paragraphs from Xidas's ANL post on 4/21 and a few from an email Kevin Martin sent me that same day:

WOW
I state the OBVIOUS in my first ever blog on here and get slandered and liabled by an unknown assasin on another blog site from the now defunct magazine Autograph collector....Well, that just proves everyones point
Funny I didnt have a dog in that fight as they say in the South in the US and only mentioned MY personal dealings as they related to this publisher ironically I tried to have people see him in a different light a little more sympathetic since he gets bashed everywhere so much and WHAT DO YOU KNOW I am slandered and maligned on their site.
Well lay down with dogs right? Get up with fleas
My fault for weighing in I suppose as for their assertion that their "intel" doesnt show my name .. why because their Intel obviously doesnt cover other countries then their own sheesh ! these guys think their secret agents dont they? How sad
Part of an email from Kevin on 4/21/11:

Mr Cyrkin

 Long time no hear

 Hope you are well

Just a quick line I dont care to elaborate and I dont wish to make you comment in a defensive manner but we BOTH know I am suddenly out of the blue being harrased by some people who allign themselves with your blog site

I do NOT and have never under ANY name blogged on your site basically i have nothing to say !

I am NOT affiliated with autographalert in any way and have actually had a bad report against me on there once I dont know who owns it but I SUSPECT it is Steven Koschal

I am NOT affiliated in any way nor have I posted on Is it real.com

Not on this new site autographnewslive

In the case of the last site I was sent an email about it from anothe rdealer showing me a rude and slanderous comment about ME on the site so clearly Im not someone they are fond of

BUT that leads me to the reason for my email to you

I can post more, but please compare these beginnings of the Xidas blog and Martin email first and let me know what you think.

Thanks

Wow

Lets see if you are right Mr. Cyrkin.  I dont (no ') know WHY you would ...think this was the same person.  I like to start sentences with "I".  "I LOVE to put things in quotes"  I don't put periods at the end of my sentences  Why would you think I WAS the same person...

There's nothing wrong with writing for the magazine, and while I haven't seen it, I hear good things. But if the publisher isn't using his real name, that's a very bad sign.

I have to withdraw from this blog for I am so ashamed of myself for suing Cori Raiderman.  I will pray for forgivness and I now know that he snubbed his nose to me and really won.  Do you think I will ever be forgiven?

I've been writing professionally for 20 years. I've edited the writing of countless others. There is no doubt the same person wrote those two passages.

Sentence construction, syntax, grammar and punctuation are all the same. For someone who knows what they are looking for, writing style is as definitive as fingerprints or a signature.

Other clues are:

* Would a person from outside the U.S. be likely to use the word "sheesh" ? Highly doubtful.

* Both writers use the unusual term "blog site" to generically describe this site (which is a message board, plus blog and other content).

I wonder if these people realize how weird, creepy and childish it is to be posting under all these false names. Why would someone who is supposedly on the side of right need to resort to such tactics?

Mr. Zipper,

Thanks. Something else I thought was rather strange was that Xidas used the name S. Eugene Xidas on their site and for publicity, yet on ANL he goes by Samuel Xidas, not Eugene.

Maybe Xidas's English isn't so good and Kevin Martin is writing for him. Yes...that must be it.
Comment by Brandon Mysinger on May 24, 2011 at 5:30pm

You are a Genious Steve.  You got the answer for them to use before they could come up with it.

I have sent this info to people that are dealing with Martin professionally, they have argued all along that Kevin is above this sort of thing.  Let's see how he squirms.
