What to do with a fake autographed item?

I have a book that was a gift many years ago.  I just did some research and believe the signature is most likely fake.  What can I do with this book?

I came to the conclusion this autograph was fake because of looking online at many sources of his known signature, which has a loopy "L", along with other inconsistencies.
I read that a person may have different signatures for different situations, like space allotment, item being signed, occasion, etc.  None of the signatures I came across have anything close to the "L" above.

Here are some images of his signature:

In my previous response I assumed you wanted to keep the book... but if you are getting rid of it anyway and it has low value, definitely tear the page out.

I have a few baseballs with fakes sitting in the ball bag in my garage. I play catch with the kids with them. (You just need to be sure the kids know they can't play catch with just any signed ball they find around the house!)

With a bat, I'd sandpaper off the bad signature and do a spot touch up with polyurethane varnish. The bat will look as good as new and can be used for display or adding real signatures. Note that if the signature has not sunk into the woodgrain, you may be able to use a white art eraser to remove the bad signature without having to sand. Worth a try.
