Tom Tresh busts Pawn Stars:

They buy a Lou Gehrig "signed" jersey for $3,000--and it's the only one known! If it were real it could bring 6-figures.

Or the best one - #583 - photo of the White House signed by Ford, Carter, both Bushes, Clinton and OBAMA. Zero bids.

Yes he is right on most of the time. Most of them are such bad forgerys that it is hard to believe that anyone would even look twice at the items let alone bid or buy on of them. I was only stating that although he means well he is sometimes quite wrong. I guess we all have our days tho.

Although TV is TV and you can't believe all you see, its ashamed that one respected as much as the History Channel doesn't see the flaw in free advertising  for authenticators such as STAT, as "Rick" the Pawn Star resident "expert" slowly displays this shameless companies "COA" and verbally validates the certificates he looks at ! Anyone looking at possibly buying something with similar certificates are now one more step closer to believing in its legitimacy ! STAT sucks !! I say this from experience as I had bought an item with their branding and it cost me dearly in dollars and embarrassment ! And even though I knew that the Gehrig  jersey was fake, I did get a little excited seeing this historic event unfold in front of my eyes...for $3000.00.  Thanks History Channel AND Pawn Stars for proving to me once again "Caveat Emptor !"

If you have any questionable Autographs with ANY COA go to Gold and Silver in Vegas for a great deal!!

I am an I.A.T.S.E Stagehand and know for a fact that a lot of the so called "Reality" shows are anything but "Reality". I have a friend who is a stagehand for the STORAGE WARS show and he told me that a lot of the unbelievable items they find in those storage units are planted there. They have to do it to make the show interesting. Nobody wants to see those guys bidding on those units only to find boxes of dirty laundry and raggedy furniture!! Remember, in show business, you can't believe everything you see!!

I just saw this show with the Lou Gehrig Jersey, but your WRONG it is not Lou's Jersey.

They clearly state that it belonged to a young baseball player who had Lou sign it for them. They even say where the sig is located the kid prob bend over for Lou to sign. You better check out the show again because you're wrong. They never represent the jersey as being Lou's.

Somebody said it was Lou's actual personally owned jersey? Where you get that from? All I've ever seen or heard is that its not Lou's signature.

I saw that show when it aired.  I do recall that they said it most likely was not Gehrig's shirt.  very appropriate because it's not his signature either.
