Friend bought me an old Beatles album at an auction. (Canadian-only release from Capital records: Twist and Shout, released elsewhere as Please Please Me, I think.  Has pink and black front cover of them jumping on wall.) I noticed a scrawl on the back, thought it was just ramblings, but now think it's a George Harrison signature. Check out the lines compared to authenticated signatures  (though I realize it's not as "clean" as some of the images on the web though!)  Album was released Feb/63, Beatles performed in my home city August/63, so the timeline seems right too.

Any thoughts?  I don't think it would be worth much, and probably wouldn't sell it anyway, but it would be nice to know if it's his signature or not.

Hi David

Can you post a photo?

This is all I have. Not a very legible signature, if that's what it is, but the "G" seems right, and It would be the closest thing I'm likely to ever have to a Beatle signature.  Kinda cool if real.(Let me know if you don't get the photo attachment)
