Hope to get some feedback on this 1955 Hank Snow tour program. On the bill that night in Mobile Alabama was a 19 year old Elvis Presley.

I like this and I'm wondering if my instincts are on the money ???

Your thoughts more than welcome...

Hi Mark,

What makes you so sure? To be honest I was sure enough of mine too, but the guys here who know a lot more than me have made me doubt it.

To be honest though, I don't think anyone will 100% agree on any Elvis signed item put up, there will always be people that don't think it looks legit.
Ben, Elvis's signature during the 70s is difficult to agree on mainly due to health issues and time frames without going into too much details, there is consistency from his early signature to his later 70s, and, can be very difficult to agree on.
IMO & hope this is true fact, pointing this query to Steve this site was created to educate fellow autograph collectors, and, not to publicly run down organisations, companies, & individuals who are trying to make a honest living, granted, we from time to time may not always agree with each other but sharing knowledge is priceless and veryyyy constructive.
Lastly more members need to put import into these debates irearspective of opinions, and this item 2026 was bought on this site by a very knowledgeable individual imo on Elvis Presleys signature.
Mark, would be interested to hear your opinion on the attached too then.

I got it from someone who has a good reputation, and has very good links to Elvis's circle. He even runs an Elvis museum in which his old band members have performed.

However, there are doubts on here about its authenticity like there are with yours. I can definitely understand why as it seems like handwriting is very different, and I used yours as another example of it being different too.

Note: I wasn't trying to discredit you. I was simply trying to show that others out there (including JSA approved ones) show largely different handwriting to the 'norm'.

This is very hard for me to see as l am operating from my mobile phone my home broadband is down, but imo this example hasn't been signed by Elvis sorry bud however when l get my broadband fixed l will look again, regarding your comments Ben, l honestly never felt you was having a go just these days regarding opinions on this site is if it starts in a negative direction the followers follow the lead a point to remember Elvis was a great signer he once said "The day someone stops asking me for my autograph will be the day l will worry"
Hi Mark,

Yeah well the opinion on that one has certainly been consistent haha.

It just doesn't make much sense though as the seller is very well trusted. Also, there are 2 autographs on the piece. 1 without inscription. If you were a forger and you did it once, why would you risk ruining the piece by doing it again? Even adding an inscription is a risk.

I am speaking to the seller about it, but the comments on here certainly fill me with a lot of doubt. Never nice after spending the money.
Ben, l m confused what are you taking about 2
On the example you commented on. It's a menu from the Las Vegas Hilton from the 70's. It's signed on the front with no inscription and again on the back with the inscription you saw.

It's from Henrik Knudsen who owns the Memphis Mansion in Denmark. It's a recreation of Graceland which has an Elvis museum also. He has had long ties with the people associated with Elvis and they often appear to perform at his venue.

Henrik got the piece from Sherill Nielsen before he passed with a few other items. 3 of his (SN) Jumpsuits, a tour jacket, his Gold ID card, some letters, a Jacket he got from Elvis and a tonne of paperwork, among these the signed menu.

I know his reputation is good and he is well trusted. He's dealt directly with James Burton, Glen D Hardin, Ronnie Tutt, Jerry Scheff, Myrna Smith, Estrell Brown, Joe Moscheo, Terry Blackwood, Gordon Stoker and Scotty Moore and a lot of people can vouch for that.

So you can see my dilemma. I have that on the one hand and people's opinions on here on the other.
Ben the more I look at this the more I don't like it Ben are you States bound or europe
Ben type in on Google Frank Skinner shirt from Elvis Presley
I'm in England.

I don't get the Frank Skinner ref? Just that he bought a shirt for 11k?
Ive sent you a buddy request regards the Frank Skinner this came from a trusted source
Ben,

In my opinion neither 2025 nor 2026 are real, and I'd be extremely surprised if JSA certified 2026. Roger Epperson is supposed to look at their rare music and I can't imagine him approving it.
