Beckett Authentication

Hi. I'm brand new to the site so I'm not sure if this has been discussed before or not. I'm looking at buying a Walter Payton autographed football. My question is if Beckett Authentication is a reliable C.O.A. I know they authenticate auto on cards but this is the first one I've ran across on an actual football. I usually only buy merchandise with PSA or JSA certificates. Any and all opinions would be really appreciated. Thanks
