No on the Lugosi from what I can see. The other is live ink? It looks a bit printed.

I don't know, i think live ink but i'm not an expert and i maybe fault

Well, perhaps with a magnifying glass you could look where strokes cross over and see if there is corresponding doubled ink ("crossover"). I hope this helps.

Ok, thank you. So Lugosi is fake for sure? And Hitch maybe real, if it's live ink?
I would like to send them to psa but if they are certainly fake I save this expense

Hello again,

The Lugosi appears forged. Even if early, what with the mark above the "e" (pre '44?), the "B" and "e" appear rather wrong. Never saw that "e". There is hesitation. Where is the European kickback? The last name looks reasonable, but uncomfortable. The first name very much so.

The Hitch - you need other opinions. Can't help you there.

E

This was one of about 4 mistakes I made in about 20 years. Lugosi - fake. You'd not believe the names that argued for this to be genuine. But I found a diagnostic. It is NOT genuine. It was said to be removed from the market after I debunked it - but it remains as an exemplar at least :(

I got my $ back btw  :) After years.

I have a Hitchcock signature for sale if interested?
