Signed copy of "Strategy of Peace" presented to Lord Alport, who was at the time High Commissioner (Ambassador) to Malawi, Rhodesia, and Zambia. (hence the "H E" in front of Lord Alport for "His Excellency") purchased from his son.
I supposed it could be secretarial, however I see some similarities between some of JFK's proven autographs, such as the space in the middle of "wishes" and the "T" in "best."
The writing imprinted through to the next page and I have no doubt that the son of Lord Alport is trustworthy - I'm sure it was indeed presented by JFK. But what of the signature?
Thanks for everyone's help...

Wonderful work! Looks like mine is closest to Secretary I. It would be difficult for a layman to determine except for the circle at the bottom of the "F." which evidently is secretarial only. Otherwise, the almost undecipherable inscription and the signature which has many of the features seen on the authentic ones would indicate an actual signed book.
Thanks for your help. I wouldn't be able to pay for an actual authentication unless I had some glimpse of hope that it was indeed real. All the provenance is in place, and I'm sure several of these were handed out on his trip to Europe, so not surprising that it would be secretarially signed.
Again, thanks
