Impossible to tell for sure.  It's a cut signature, which is the easiest medium to execute a forgery on, and this piece comes with no provenance or context.

I asked the auction house for any info. They haven't gotten back to me. Is it worth the 15 bucks to send to Roger?

I checked with Roger Epperson. He seems to think it is legit. Although I'm not sure why he thinks its legit. I guess for 15 bucks all you get is an email saying yay or nay.

That's what a quick opinion consists of. Although, getting Roger's opinion is worth the $15. At least, you are getting an opinion of someone who specializes in this genre.
