I understand that newspaper is probably the worst type of paper to get an autograph on. With that said, what would be the life expectancy of a felt tip signature signed on a newspaper if displayed properly without major fading?

Update. I finally gathered all my materials and decided to jump in. I followed the instructions on the Archival Mist. It stated I needed to apply to both sides of the newspaper which I did while holding my breath. The felt tip signatures did not bleed!
Next cutting the 100% acid free rag backing board and rag matting. Then, putting all the pieces together. Done.
I'm a relieved and happy camper!
