i got this letter from a box of old picture frames from an estate sale. as you can see its a letter typed on white house woven paper to a child named judy in 1962. ive done a little research and from what im gathering it looks real.

Unless it’s a photocopy or a facsimile it looks spot on for the time period. A truly uncommon find in an estate sale.

Andrew said in another post that it’s definitely not a copy.  So yes, it looks very authentic...definitely not secretarial.

its definitely not a photo copy or facsimile. i looked at the back and could BBC see differences in the signature impression. i.e. where the disconnected y is you can tell where he accidentally connects it it was lighter than the rest.....so you think its good as well as james?

As long as it’s not a photocopy as you say,  it’s 100% real without question.  No worries at all.
