Metallica signed guitar?

Hi there,

any Metallica experts? This piece is supposed to be signed by Kirk, Lars and Rob on a meet and greet in July 2011.

What do you say?

I wish it was signed on the front though.

The offer's currently around $1000. 

Is it worth the money?

Depends on the value of the guitar.  Just a signed plate cover is not worth $1000.  I paid $2800 for the Metallica guitar you see in my picture above.  The guitar unsigned goes for $900.  I probably overpaid for the guitar but I just loved the signatures on it.  It’s more stunning in person with the bright silver sigs on the jet black body.  The sigs are perfectly spaced and large.

It's a KH 602, too, just like yours.

But James is missing and the fact, that it's just signed on the plate cover kind of bothers me. It just "feels" less worthy to me than a signed body. But maybe that's just me ...

its not worth more than a couple hundred over the guitar value

I wouldn't buy it because the sigs are on the back

ps he took the back plate to have it signed then put it back on
