An eBay seller currently listing signed Nirvana items and I am interested in a piece. I've checked the signatures and they look authentic, although most are easy to forge. I'm also suspicious that he has so many items for sale. He says he's a collector that purchased another collection. I'm curious what you guys think?

Hi James,

You are correct, I've been looking for a signed Nevermind for quite some time.  I agree that it is likely this guy is a scammer.  However, I want to make sure that I exhaust all avenues first.  Had he been able to produce photographs, this would be a different story.  It was worth a try.  It also serves as a record for anyone else who comes across this pair.

Thanks,

Mike

The last signed Nirvana Nevermind LP was sold for more than $10K.
A signed Nirvana Nevermind CD was sold for about $6K.

Hi J.Seah - sorry to resurrect this thread but I'm just doing some research for a client who has an amazing signed Nevermind (gut feeling is good) - where did the last one sell for over $10K? I'm struggling to find this anywhere? Also, do you know when Krist started signing Krist rather than Chris? thanks so much!

Chris started signing Krist around end 1991 or early 1992.
The last authentic signed Nevermind LP sold for $10k was on Ebay.
It belongs to rock star from Denmark. He got to meet Nirvana when he was young in Europe. He has all his pics with Nirvana at the Copenhagen Airport.

r and r sold a few that were real

gut feeling with nirvana doesnt do it .u need to really prove it

Thanks both, that's really helpful. This would have been early 1992 and signed Chris so sounds about right. Totally appreciate gut feeling isn't good enough - just making initial enquiries. We know who it was signed for, and it is inscribed with references to the place it was signed, and there are photos of nirvana there, so initial signs are good. Need to track down the original recipient. Thanks for the help again, at some point I may post the LP on here to get your thoughts.

and I sold my poster for 15k and a cd digi pak for the smells like teen spirt advanced release for 12 k

nirvana comes down to providence u need to track the first person down
