I'm also not an expert on Beatles autographs and would welcome your comments for my education.

Definitely not authentic.

It's up for sale with a guide price of £2000-£3000; however, they sell for $18,000 on RR.

I've checked the autos against the ones on the RR site and they look OK to me, but I'm not an expert.

I would avoid it. I've seen several other examples from the same forger, one of which was recently pulled from sale.

Many thanks

They have a 'fresh' look about them. Other that that, I would be fooled.

It also comes with a  story about being obtained by a policeman.

Under the T&Cs: No information is guaranteed to be true. But they all say that. Allowing them to sell junk.

Do you have a photo of an other example from this forger.?

Many thanks for taking the trouble. Much appreciated.

Wow...these forgers have gotten really, really good.  These, at first glance, appear to be very real.  I have studied some of the nuances to see the differences, and they are there, just have to check very closely.  Scary how good these guys are getting tho...

I have sent a message to the auctioneer. I will let you know what they say. I'm not really going to bid on it, so disregard that bit.

Here is my question(s)

Hello,
I'm interested in bidding on your Beatles signed album, but I would need some providence or some sort of guarantee before I do. The consigner states it was signed for a policeman. Can this be backed up with solid evidence?

It's a lot to bid on without providence, as there are many forgeries on the market, and many Beatles signed items are fake.

The signatures on your item look quite fresh for something that is over 50 years old, hence my request for further reassurance.

Providence is in Rhode Island.  I believe you are looking for "provenance".

Please explain...

+1, Terrier.

Providence,  Rhode Island = a quaint, seaside town.

Provenance = the history of an item.
