Why do you think it went for that price Jay?

I will wait till Roger Epperson gets back from me with the quick opinion

This does not mean it is real. It does suggest that RE should give it the OK. How many people have made errors with MJ signatures? Don't even go there. Heads it is real tails it is fake. Not the sort of thing I would buy. Each to his own I guess. I would laugh if RE fails it. It's happened to others.

Nice detective work Eric, nonetheless.

But I never said it was real. I went looking deliberately for an unusually low priced Jackson and there it was as I expected. Others that year were about 800 and close to 2K. With very few exceptions, they go (and went before) for a lot more than this. That is interesting.

This was with 22% buyer's fee added also. It went very cheaply. Ask yourself: WHY. I'll tell you why. It had few bids, so the buyers stayed away. You need to apply a bit of logic and reason. Don't trust people who you have not seen before. It's your money. Don't be so casual.

Jay, if I can't see it myself and explain it, I don't buy it. I know of no peice of paper that can equal the "collecting" this knowledge.

This needs explanation? If I can't see how and why the autograph is genuine, if what all that I learned to look for and more is not present or presents a problem, I won't buy it. I do not want unusual signatures, only unusual items. I am not aware of any certificate that can replace actually knowing, as best you can, the what and why. It IS the hobby - not buying certificates.

Eric, I know what you meant by not making any comment. I read between the lines. I wasn't suggesting, for a second, that you were implying it is real.

Very subjective. A quantum autograph at best.

Thanks for clarifying Michael.

By-the-way, Eric.

A quantum autograph is real Monday through to Friday and fake through the weekend. Sometimes it's both at the same time. Schrödinger's cat will know.

The fact that it had few bids shows that other people had concerns.
