This backstage pass was sold 8/16 at RR Auction for about $5,800 and was pre-certified REAL and PSA/DNA. I considered bidding on it back then. It is legit. The one posted by Marcelo does have a lot of similarity to it. It may be real also. I am not sure.

here's one simple reason I believe this pass isn't real

look at Chris... has anyone ever seen him sign with pointed strokes?

Actually a lot of similarities between the two sets.
I would really like to be sure of the authenticity before spending money.

I won't give away specifics

But they are many certed Nirvana items that are not authentic

These days, many authenticator's will steer clear of authenticating Nirvana

That being said, there are several celebrities that I have private communications with before I make a judgement. I trust these people more than any TPA for the simple reason that they almost exclusively study that certain celebrity and have done so for years or decades.

I view a COA as a guide, NOT a final resolution... no matter who signed the cert.
My final decision rests on my own research.

It doesn't mean I'm right all the time, but it does reduce the chances of being wrong.
