I agree it's easily forged, but what's the basis for your opinion on this one?
I think its good
I can't find anything wrong with it.
Thank you to all member's for replying with your opinions. Greatly appreciated.
I went back to the seller and asked some more detailed history on the item and was told that this book was originally purchased from a Prof. that was at the Denver University when Obama was campaigning before the 2008 election and he had it signed. I was told further that the process in which a lot of these books were signed, was that large lots were handed to the Secret Service with the owners name, and after Obama signed them in a secured area, they were collected by the owners.
I did some further digging and found that Obama was in fact at Denver University on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008 and that was most likely when this particular item was signed.
Thank you for your comments Tim. Firstly i can confirm that terrior8HOF has commented on Obama signature opinions previously. Some dating back to 2014 (did some research).
Secondly i would like to hear about the five things you consider off with the signature. I always appreciate lessons in spotting authentic autographs and would be grateful if you could take the time to identify them.
Matt, I took another look at this signature, and compared it to BO examples that I know are authentic. The shape of the B in this example, does appear to be off. The top half of the B is almost always larger than the bottom, in your example, it is not.
Based on that, I would have to agree with Tom G, I mean, Tim. This one is suspect at best.
16% of my authentic samples have a larger B-bottom, so I'd need to hear more problematic factors to be convinced it's bad. Tim G. says he has 5 problem-factors, let's see if he contributes them or just keeps yelling at people.
Go back to Facebook where you can boot collectors off if they dont agree with you,you little piss ant! Dont forget to charge them!!
I've never commented on AML regarding Obama, but I have studied his signature a great deal and gathered authentic samples from reliable sources for years.
In fact, we have banned multiple forgers on FB for peddling bad Obamas over the last 3 years. I will await your factors and remain open minded.
So I should only share a footer link when I study a signature and believe it's authentic?
Not sure I follow how whether the signature is opinioned good or bad is relevant to the link, as opposed to me merely sharing who I am and what my company is below my opinion.
Because promoting your eBay store products is not equivalent to mentioning a service which authenticates autographs with up to 10 expert opinions per signature.
I don't think there is anything wrong with letting people who are looking for opinions know about our service. We are not big 3, and we care a great deal.
