EBAY Music Seller marci.oliveri - ROCK OPINIONS? ## PAUL MCCARTNEY BEATLES SIGS ##

HUGE Paul McCartney signed autographed Cut 7" full name Item 180696174416

seller: marci.oliveri

this sh*t really bothers me , a whole lot more than the fools that put up the really obvious bad mccartney graphs. this chick or dude is good enough to trick some people and is potentialy more dangerous than those ARA people because at least those are all obviously bad sigs. this person even had up a mccartney 'flowers in the dirt' album a few weeks ago that had a really well executed mccartney forgery on it, but i guess some poor shlub now has it in his collection and is happier than he would be with a face full of pie because now he has what he thinks is a real mccartney hanging in his trophy room. you beatle experts care to discuss????? Darren,

You give a lot of authenticity opinions with a lot of confidence and it sounds like you know your stuff. What's your background? Where did you get your experience? I'd like to assemble a list of go-to people, collectors and pros.

yo steve, been a collector my whole life. i've only done actors and music though. lot of in person, lot of buying. i know everybody has their problems with ebay (me included) but, if you have a good eye and are diligent you can snipe some REAL graphs on there from fans or casual collector that hasnt been inflated by the dealers or third party authentication tags/stickers.
Well, on this particular signature, he should have stopped at the Paul, but he decided to go on, and that is what got him into trouble this time. Believe it or not this particular guy has actually been selling bad McCartney signatures for 7 or 8 years now under two different seller names that are no longer registered on ebay. I know a hardcore Beatles collector that picked up two items from him that is slowly, but surely building a case against him. He lives in Washington state and isn't exclusive to signing McCartneys name or even this STYLE of McCartney - he runs the gamut. The good news is this: he tends to sell his items relatively cheap AND he is actually getting worse and worse at it. His versions from a few years ago were much better. I know someone that has a large exemplar file of his work, so I will ask him to borrow it then post it with his permission.
I have gotten paul a few time and only got the full sig once but I agree the Paul looks Ok but he really messed up on the last name. He got kinda sloppy toward the end. Someone needs to put a case up though because someone not very educated on mccartney signatures will end up buying this thinking it is authentic for a few hundred dollars and no one should get ripped off in this economoy because this is really hard earned money in this day and time and this forgery business is getting out of hand! It really bothers me! Also look at this sellers other items, he is almost dead on regarding Rod Stewart, Chuck Berry so we must stop him because he is almost too good and that is really bad for everyone!
You are correct that is  FAKE...and it is easy to tell it is fake..the L in PAUL is slanted wrong and shaky..the NEY on mcCartney is wrong..and certainly of the wrong decade (trying to fake it as if it was a signature from the early 80's)..,it should be easy for a buyer to see it's a fake..then again..not everyone has gotten a MACCA in person but they should know he is easily one of the most forged...all the Beatles are. Harrison is the hardest to forge and a bad one is pretty easy to spot.
