We now have a Musician-Direct Autograph Sales Forum where you can post individual discussions of new offerings. It's a big change—and a big improvement. We closed this discussion after 8 years but it will always be available to read.

The new system has been in place for 2 months now and it's working well.

This video shows you how easy the new forum is to use.

You can follow the forum and be notified of new signings exclusively! And you can enter a musician's name in the forum's search box and find any discussions about them.

Be sure to click the Follow link at the bottom of the list of discussions.

Try it...I think you'll like it.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

There are signed bookplated copies of Roger Daltry's "Thanks a lot Mr. Kibblewhite" at a *slightly* premium price over at Booka Bookshop in the UK:

Meghan Trainor on JB Hi-Fi. Limit one per customer. https://www.jbhifi.com.au/music/browse/pop/treat-myself/649525/

Did anyone receive the signed Cd booklet  from the Meghan Trainor store back in September?

Her album got pushed back so the cds haven’t been signed or sent out yet. The expected release date was changed to January 25th, 2019.

Mumford & Sons just arrived. I hope they didn't strain themselves too much on this effort.

Yikes. That reminds me of the time I tried to get Martin Brodeur from the Jersey Devils in person. He came out of the hotel and put an "MB" on the wife's poster. She was ticked. Like why bother to even sign.  Essentially ruined the poster.

you really have to think twice these days about ordering signed material for a variety of reasons.

Actually, you are damned if u do and damned if u dont when buying signed anything..As everybody is a skeptic no matter what, here or on the RACC facebook page..seems most don't believe most are legit, regardless...

That's how they've been signing. This is an example from a sit down signing they did.. Screenshot_20181204-080003_eBay.jpg

I don't doubt it. Still, a non-effort is a non-effort. And a scribble is a scribble. Honestly, my expectations weren't exactly sky-high. After the purchase, I did realize that what I was likely to get was going to be of less than stellar quality. I do suppose it's hard to complain, given the rock bottom prices. At the same time, bigger names like Lorde and Halsey charged incredibly low prices last year and have really nice, full signatures.

Yeah most artists today seem to not give a s*** about their signature. Ok they may be asked more often to sign something today then before and been asked to put their face up for selfies and maybe they are tired of it but if I am not proud of been asked to put my signature on a item then I should ask myself if I am in the right business. I prefer getting autographs form old stars or not so famous ones they sign much nicer I think.
