Very nice early set.

Looked nice to me.  Just can't afford the price plus RR Auction raised their buyers premium to 25% starting this year. No telling what the final price will be.

I think 25% is shameful.

I agree with Steve. It amazes me people still pay that.

It also comes with an LOA from Frank Caiazzo so it's rock solid authentic. Could be yours for about 8 grand after fees.

I agree, Rock Solid.  However, I would think closer to 10k with fees...but we will see...

Yes I agree around the 10k.

Lovely set of The Beatles graphs! Only one of the few bands worth collecting their autographs from.

Real nice  early signed card in great condition.definitely 10k pluswhen all done.RRs 25% is definitely crazy .paying an extra 1/4 just doesnt sit right.

I remember in the late 80's commissions at many auction houses were 10-15% -- then they slowly began rising.  I wish there was a company for autographs where it's a flat 10% from the sellers with no commission for the buyers. Comic Connect and Comic Link do millions of dollars a year in business using that model. With eBay it's 13% when you figure in paypal fees -- but their autographs are mostly crap.

I agree.... 25% is really pushing it.  I, myself, have backed out of buying what would be a "reasonably" priced item because the 25% easily pushes it into an expensive item.  I think Bruce is right, the seller should share in that expense and not put it all on the buyer.  10 - 15% is certainly more reasonable for someone just acting as a middle man.  Granted, they have their overhead and give the item exposure, but I feel that 25% is bordering on gouging. My two cents...

The consignor pays 15% min and with rr auction depending on the deal you work out.
