is it real or "only make believe" - from the most recent Coach's Corner landmark auction

This STAR Basketball card from 1985 Star is card #101 which is Michael Jordan's TRUE ROOKIE Card, and comes graded by cc-Grading at MINT 9. The corners are sharp, back clean, and just a slight centering L/R keeps it from a 10. Great card for investment here, and well valued in this condition in the THOUSANDS!

LOL Coaches Corner Grading.

The 85 Star Jordan is one of the most counterfeited cards in existence. PSA won't grade them at all. Beckett is willing to grade them as they claim they hired the foremost expert (a former Star employee). Generally speaking, no serious collector would touch a Star Jordan that was not BGS graded or still sealed in the team pack.

99.9% chance that is a counterfeit. Which, of course, is why Coaches Corner is selling it.

You're being kind to Coach's Corner actually as this Jordan rookie has < zero (one of EC's best early rockers) chance of being on the up and up. However, Lee claims the card and all those 1984 #101 Star rooks (appropriate slang) that preceded it are not counterfeit nor are they reprints. I know what Lee says is pretty much gospel.
