I purchased a small collection of Kennedy photographs, most were obvious copies with the signature at the bottom. However, one was the actual photo on a white board with a wet signature at the bottom. To me it looked like what you would do in order to make the copies that would be handed out to White House guests. I realize it's very unlikely, and probably a secretary, but I figure I better get some opinions if its worth sending out for certification.

I did find this on the net and thought signature looked similar. https://myauctionfinds.com/2013/10/18/indian-reader-asks-about-lett...

Thanks!

This letter you linked to is 100% autopen.  It’s a common JFK autopen style.  There are lots of those letters out there.

The one you present I’m almost certain is an autopen as well or a preprint.  However, you say it’s live ink so I believe it’s an autopen.  I can’t say for 100% it’s an autopen, but that’s my belief.

its definitely not a preprint,  so I guess that means auto pen. I thought this one looked similar also  https://www.icollector.com/John-F-Kennedy-1963-Signed-Photograph-In...

I knew I was grasping at straws. I appreciate you taking the time.

Eric

The icollector one is definitely authentic.  There are some similarities, but I still think your OP is probably autopen.

You might check with member Herman Darvick.  He’s an authority on presidential autographs.  And see what he thinks.
